Making a transparent candle is quite simple, plus everything, in the process of creating it, you can use all your imagination and creativity. The main thing is to understand in advance what should turn out in the end, a gift for Valentine's Day, March 8, Birthday or February 23. Based on this, you can come up with a thematic design for a future gift.

Step 1
Make the body of a transparent candle as follows: dissolve five parts of gelatin in twenty parts of water, then add 25 parts of glycerin, heat the mixture over low heat until it becomes completely transparent. In another container, dissolve two parts of tannin in ten parts of glycerin, pour the resulting mass into the first mixture and boil until the new composition also becomes transparent.
Step 2
Prepare molds for pouring, wicks and various small decorative items that will be inside the transparent candles. To make a candle not just clear as water, prepare several vessels in which you will boil a mixture of gelatin, glycerin and tannin, adding different dyes. Food dyes, aniline dyes, ballpoint pen paste, and other dyes you can find are fine.
Step 3
Pour melted liquid from different jars into the mold, after the previous one has cooled slightly. By tilting the mold to one side, you can achieve the effect of multi-colored, with transparent layers in the candle. If you take a gel of one color with a heated syringe and squeeze the contents into a layer of a different color, you get very unusual fantasy figures. You can also add air bubbles with an empty syringe.
Step 4
Pour the blue gel into the liquid colorless, twist the swirl-like patterns with a knitting needle. It will turn out very touching and unusual if you write the "most important" words on a small sticker or just a piece of paper and fill it all with gel in the lower third of the candle. A note can be strung on a wick, after placing the words so that the inscription remains understandable.
Step 5
Add dried flowers, glass balls, colored sand, sparkles, sequins to the composition, whatever you see fit. When making a transparent candle, remember that its originality and uniqueness depends only on you. The only thing is, do not place any objects close to the surface, it is still better if the candle can be lit once, at least for a short time.
