It is necessary

  • - yarn;
  • - a set of 5 knitting needles.

Instructions

Step 1

Start knitting your socks at the cuff. To do this, cast on the knitting needles a multiple of four loops and distribute them evenly over the four knitting needles. For example, for size 38 cast on 45 stitches, in which case there will be 11 stitches on each knitting needle. Close the knitting in a circle, knit the first and last stitches together. Tie the entire cuff in a circle with a 1x1 or 2x2 elastic. At a height of 8 cm, knit 2 cm with face loops.

Step 2

Now start knitting the heel. Move the stitches of the first and fourth knitting needles to one knitting needle. Work in the wall of the heel by knitting straight and back rows. At a height of 4.5 cm, divide all the loops that are in work into three parts (7 + 9 + 6). In the next front row, knit 7 side loops of the heel and 8 lower loops of the heel, and knit the last loop with the first loop of the third part of the heel and unfold the knitting.

Step 3

Remove the first loop of the bottom of the heel so that the thread is before work, i.e. purl, and purl all stitches. Knit the last loop of the middle (lower) part of the heel together with the first loop of the side of the heel. Expand the work. Work the heel down until only the middle (lower) heel loops remain on the working needle.

Step 4

Then continue knitting in a circle. To do this, on the edges of the heel wall, dial the loops, piercing the side loop with a knitting needle, and, picking up the thread, pull it to the front side, and knit the loops that remained on the knitting needle. In the next row, start decreasing the loops. To do this, in each row, knit together the last loop of the first knitting needle and the first loop of the second knitting needle, just swap the first and second loops so that the second is before work. Decrease the third and fourth knitting needles in the same way. Repeat the decrease in five circular rows.

Step 5

After 15 cm from the wall of the heel, begin to decrease the loops to form the toe. Make sure all knitting needles have the same number of stitches. To decrease, knit together the front second and third loops from the end on the first and third knitting needles; the second and third loops - on the second and fourth knitting needles together with a broach. Repeat decreasing in rows until there are 2 stitches left on each spoke. Pull the thread through the remaining loops and secure the end of the thread to the inside of the sock.
