Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to tailoring fashionable clothes for dogs. Many fashion designers and designers design entire wardrobes for them, ranging from ordinary panties to hats and jackets. But these clothes are quite expensive. Most housewives love their pets very much and therefore sew and knit clothes for them with their own hands no worse than at shows. After all, if a person is comfortable and warm in knitted socks, then why should the dog not knit the same socks so that it would be warm in winter too. Therefore, you can safely start knitting socks for your pet.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the yarn you like for socks, then take five knitting needles for knitting, also buy a special synthetic thread. It is necessary so that the socks are not immediately rubbed when worn by the dog.
Step 2
Take measurements of your pet's paws, do not forget to measure all four paws, as the length of the front legs is different from the length of the hind legs. Then draw the pattern you will be knitting.
Step 3
Cast on the required number of loops on two knitting needles, then distribute the dialed loops evenly over the four knitting needles. The fifth knitting needle you have is working.
Step 4
Tie an elastic band of the required length in a circle, about five centimeters. After that, continue to knit in a round, but already stocking knit or the pattern that you chose for the socks. In this way, knit a few more rows.
Step 5
Get to the knit heel. Since the dog does not have one, then add a couple of loops on both sides and knit several rows, then go back to the previous number of loops and continue knitting.
Step 6
Knit further with the stocking knit or pattern of your choice, almost to the end. Now add synthetic thread and knit a few rows. After that, it is necessary to remove the same number of loops on both sides. Continue decreasing stitches until only a few stitches remain on the needles. Knit them together and close the knit.
Step 7
Tie three more socks in the same way. When all the socks are tied, you can decorate them. To do this, thread a knitting thread at the top of each sock and sew small buboes to it. This will prevent your dog's socks from slipping off his paws.
