Step 1
First, come up with a sketch drawing ("sketch") or copy the one you like on paper. Compose yourself a "tag" (signature) and develop a graphic representation of it.
Step 2
Choose a wall in advance. The best graffiti surface is porous concrete. Uneven surfaces, metal and unpainted wood are not very suitable for doing creative work. Never paint on rust or whitewash. If you decide to depict something on a metal surface, then it must first be degreased with a solvent.
Step 3
Pre-prime the wall with enamel or water-based paint. This will help hide the old drawing on the wall, and the paint will adhere much better. Please note: the water emulsion tends to crack over time, the enamel is more building, it is great for the background, and the paints on the enamel are much brighter.
Step 4
Start making graffiti from the background. One of the common mistakes writers make is drawing outlines and then filling them with paint. Remember: first, the sketch is drawn in the same color as the background of the title block, then the background, and only then the outline.
Step 5
If paint suddenly leaks during work, wait for the drips to dry, and then paint over them. You can also use a regular sponge. It is convenient for her to blot drips.
Step 6
Be sure to clean the caps after each use. After completing the work with the spray can, turn it over, press the cap and hold it for a couple of seconds (until the paint stops coming out). If the paint has time to dry, then the cap should be thrown away.
Step 7
Before spraying a design, spray paint onto a test wall or ground. This will help you find out if you have set the cap correctly. In addition, the first grams of paint cans "spit out", as a rule, very unevenly.
