It's pretty straightforward, although the job looks intimidatingly overwhelming. The only thing that is required in order to knit such a large canvas is patience.

Instructions
Step 1
First you need to turn the curtain into a specific yarn. To do this, the curtain must be expanded so that the entire rectangle is visible. Make small cuts on the fabric along the bottom edge, the distance between which should be 3-4 centimeters. Cut the fabric along the serifs to the opposite end. In this way, many separate bands are formed. It is important that their width is approximately the same.
Step 2
On each such strip, small cuts are made on both sides, like buttonholes. It doesn't take long to make yarn for the rug, as there is no need to process the ends of the strips.
Step 3
For the convenience of further work, one of the strips must be wound into a ball. Then you need to tie the next strip to the end of the thread. To do this, its end must be threaded into the loop first. Then the ends of the strips are wrapped so that they are fixed in each other's holes. You can simplify the task and tie the stripes together with knots, but there is a risk that the canvas will come out uneven.
Step 4
The rest of the "yarn" is tied together in the same way. To avoid tangling, constantly wind the threads into a ball.
Step 5
Now you can start knitting. You can knit a regular fabric with garter stitch, or you can knit a fabric with a pattern. You can depict a pigtail on a shawl rug, then you will need a third knitting needle or a stick, onto which part of the loops is thrown.
Step 6
The bath mat can be knitted and multi-colored.
