Step 1
After installation, if necessary, Russify the program and then run it. Open the desired track by clicking on the "Open" item in the "File" menu and then pay attention to the file editing strip.

Open the "Special" section and select the "Auto Cue Cue Placement" option. A new window will open in which you must specify how long each fragment will sound into which you want to split your mp3 track. For example, if a track is 30 minutes long, you can set the length of the track to be 5 minutes, and the track will be divided into six equal portions.

Click OK. If you are not satisfied with the result, open the "Edit" menu and click on the "Undo auto-alignment" button. If the result suits you, pay attention again to the track editing strip in the main window of the program - new cue-marks have appeared on it, marking the track into segments, the time of which you specified in the settings above.
Step 4
In a separate field next to the edit bar, you will see the number of segments that turned out after dividing the track into parts. Now open the File menu and select the Save Cut option.
Step 5
In order for the files to be saved with correct names, and you can then easily identify them, and also play in the correct order, fill in the template for automatic generation of file names. In the File Splitting window, set the template to 001-% N.
Step 6
The name of each section of the track will contain 001 with a hyphen, and then the template will generate the sequence number of the section. When the process of saving and splitting files is complete, close the file and do not save changes if asked.
