Everyone knows how a postcard created with his own hands, and not bought in a store, becomes a memorable surprise for a person. By decorating a postcard or a gift album on your own, you put your own creative powers and ideas into the gift, and thereby show how important the person to whom you are giving such a thing is to you. You can create a unique handmade item by making unusual beaded embroidery on the album, which is suitable both for decorating a wedding album and for decorating a simple birthday card.

Instructions

Step 1

You will need a sketch of the design that you will transfer to paper, a twin sewing machine needle, a sturdy needle, beads of the correct color, and a soft embroidery backing on the paper.

Step 2

Place your drawing on a sheet of paper or cardboard, secure it so that it does not move, and begin to pierce it along the contour with a twin needle, starting from the top of the drawing. The needle will pierce two holes at the same time, and therefore your stitch will be even and neat - after making the first two holes, insert one end of the twin needle into the finished hole, and pierce the third with the other end. Thus, by closing the outline of the pattern, you will get a straight line of identical holes for embroidery.

Step 3

Insert a double thread into the beading needle, tie a knot and insert the needle into the outer hole of the design, removing the sketch from the album cover. The knot should remain on the back of the paper. Thread the needle through the bead and insert it into the next hole.

Step 4

Secure the thread by inserting it on the reverse side into the loop formed by the knot, and then insert it into the first hole again, bringing it out to the right side - this will make the embroidery stronger. A needle is passed through each bead twice.

Step 5

Then put another bead on the needle and repeat the “back needle” stitch - pass the needle into the next hole, and then re-feed it through the previous one, pulling the thread again through the second bead. Repeat the same seam until you have filled the entire contour of the pattern knocked out by needles with beads.
