Having decided to knit any thing, you will surely face the need to dial loops. Depending on the elasticity and thickness requirements of the first row, there are several ways to start crocheting.
It is necessary
- - a thread;
- - hook.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to crochet stitches is to knit a chain of chain stitches. First fold the thread in half and insert the hook into the loop. Hook the thread a little higher and pull it forward so that a loop forms. Then pinch it with your index finger and thumb and pick up the thread lying on the index finger, lift and pull it forward. Grab the thread with your crochet hook and pull it through the loop. You have formed the first link in the chain. To create the following, simply grab the thread and pull it through the eyelet
Step 2
For a more elastic edge, try using the connecting posts. To do this, tie two chain stitches in the indicated way and insert the hook into the first one. Pick up the thread and pull it through the first loop. Then knit the two stitches on the hook
Step 3
To knit a single crochet edge, knit two chain stitches and insert the crochet hook into the first one. Then, pick up the working thread and pull it through the loop. Work the second stitch here again. Then grab the thread and knit both loops on the hook, inserting the hook behind the outer left wall
Step 4
If you want a double crochet hem, start with a chain of three chain stitches. Make one yarn over and insert the crochet into the first loop. Pick up the thread and pull it out. Knit another loop here again. Crochet the thread and knit all three loops on the hook
Step 5
Try to crochet stitches from crochet stitches, then you get an openwork and voluminous edge of the product. First tie 4 stitches and make 1 yarn over. Insert the hook into the first loop, pick up the thread and pull. Here, knit another loop. Then in pairs, in two steps, knit the loops on the hook. Make one yarn over and insert the hook behind the far left wall of the loop.
