Many people interested in fortune telling and beginners are interested in how to shuffle cards. These can be TAROT cards or ordinary playing cards. Both can be shuffled in the same way.
Instructions
Step 1
Before shuffling the cards, formulate your question for them, focus on it. Hold the deck in your hands for a while to customize. Drop all extraneous thoughts from your area of attention. Mix the cards yourself only if you are going to lay them out. Be aware of your question as you mix. Shuffle the cards face down. Do this until you feel you have enough.
Step 2
If you want to shuffle the cards on the weight, in your hands, then usually the deck lies face down in the receiving hand (usually the left), and the giving (right) hand takes a part of the cards from the deck and connects with the rest in random order, mixing the cards. After shuffling, the cards should be "lifted": with the forefinger of your right hand in the direction away from you, slide a part of the cards (about half) and put the part that was on top down. Often to remove the deck, they ask the one to whom they are guessing.
Step 3
If in the process any cards fell out, pick them up and shuffle the deck again. Some fortune-tellers believe that the cards fall out for a reason, but you must decide for yourself whether you will adhere to this opinion or not.
Step 4
Divide the deck into three separate piles. Divide each of them into three parts, removing them twice. Connect the resulting nine stacks in random order. Repeat this sequence of steps if desired.
Step 5
You can also shuffle the deck on the table. This is especially useful if you plan to use inverted map values in addition to straight ones. Place the cards face down on the table. Stir them slowly in a circular or spiral motion. Think about your question at the same time. Before choosing cards for the layout, you can leave the deck lying on the table or collect it in a pile.
Step 6
Another way to shuffle the deck for dealing with inverted cards is to split it in two. Turn one piece upside down, join both pieces and mix as usual. Now straight cards are in the deck mixed with upside-down cards.
