Drawing a horse is not an easy task, but if you follow all the instructions below, then there should be no difficulties with the image of this animal. The main thing to remember when drawing is to observe all proportions.
It is necessary
- - album sheet;
- - eraser;
- - pencils (hard and soft).
Instructions
Step 1
So, lay the landscape sheet in front of you horizontally and pick up a hard pencil. Lightly touching the paper with a pencil, outline the outlines of the future horse: a pear-shaped head, an oval body and a rather wide neck. Use smooth lines to connect these sketches.
Step 2
Then, with the same hard pencil, outline where the legs and tail will be. Draw lines, and not straight, but with a slight bend (in the future, you will get a drawing of a running horse). At this stage, strictly monitor the proportions so that the limbs do not turn out to be too long or short.
Step 3
The next stage is drawing the animal's face. Carefully draw the nose and eyes, give the muzzle an elongated shape. Draw small, pointed ears in a triangular shape.
Step 4
Next, try to draw the hind legs. The upper part should be quite voluminous, and the lower one should be more graceful.
Step 5
Now you can start drawing the front legs. Gently draw with a firm pencil slightly tapering legs and hooves.
Step 6
The most interesting thing is the design of the mane and tail. At this stage, take a soft pencil and in small waves, starting from the top of the head to the bottom of the neck, draw many curved lines to the side (towards the tail). Their length should not go further than the middle of the animal's body.
Draw the tail with exactly the same lines (the length of the tail should be slightly longer than the length of the mane).
Step 7
The final stage is removing unnecessary lines and shading. Gently erase unnecessary lines with an eraser, then take a soft pencil and lightly shade the whole animal, then darken the front and back of the neck, legs, tail and mane even more.
The drawing is ready.
