To make the children's album original, kind and memorable, it is best to do it yourself. Of course, photos inserted into a regular album, or a selection for a photobook, are great too. But all this does not compare with the one that you will do for the child yourself.
It is necessary
- album
- old magazines
- glue
- markers
- photos
Instructions
Step 1
Decide on the material. It can be a regular sketchbook (the denser the sheets, the better), an album for stamps (it has sheets like cardboard and hardcover, which is durable), or a magnetic album for photographs (in it, photographs are placed on a dense adhesive paper, and covered with a film on top).
Step 2
Choose a topic. One album can be dedicated to one specific story. For example, how the baby was born and raised. The way the child did everything for the first time - the first time he sat down, got up, walked, smiled, took a spoon, etc. The album can be a whole fairy tale. For example, a fairy tale about how your kind and brave child went for a walk, met some fairy-tale character and helped him … cross the road correctly, greet elders, etc. You can weave into a fairy tale the skill that you want to teach your child at the moment.
Step 3
Collect various junk magazines, postcards, used kids coloring pages. Cut out flowers, the sun, trees, fairy-tale characters from them. All of these clippings will help you create your collage. Photos will take center stage in it. They can be left intact, or you can cut out only what you need.
Step 4
Arrange the photo and clippings on the sheet, leaving room for a signature. If the children's album is in the form of a fairy tale, write a few sentences from its content. If the album is a chronology of some events, then you need to write the date in a specially left place. In addition, you can (and should) write some kind of accompanying comment. It may be some kind of memory of the time captured in the photograph. You can use someone else's statement or a little rhyme.
