Fern is one of the oldest plants on Earth. I advise you to start nephrolepis at home - it will perfectly decorate any room.
One of the varieties of house fern, which, in my opinion, is very similar to what we see in the forest - nephrolepis. It is a lush plant with long feathery leaves. It is very unpretentious and pleasing to the eye even when other plants simply die.
In principle, the home fern feels great in a dimly lit room, it is content with watering once every two to three days. However, it must be said that experienced plant breeders recommend sprinkling the fern once or twice a day, keeping the room temperature as stable as possible (ideally, moderate, no more than 20 degrees Celsius). Water the fern with settled water, like other plants, as needed.
Excessive illumination harms the plant, it can quickly die under the influence of direct sunlight.
If the fern has grown to such an extent that it is cramped in the pot, it must be planted. A large plant can be divided into several bushes and planted in different pots. This is the easiest way to guarantee a healthy and robust plant.
1. Nephrolepis can grow even in a room without windows.
2. A pot with a plant looks great both on a suspension and on a windowsill, a flower stand.
3. This fern can also be planted as a garden plant.
