Step 1
Get enough yarn first. If you want to make a striped sweater, then buy multicolored threads. The second required attribute of this needlework is knitting needles. The thicker the yarn, the larger the size of the knitting needles you choose.
Step 2
Now you can start knitting a sweater without a pattern. First, create a sample. He will tell you how many loops you need to dial for the main product. Usually, a round number of loops (plus 2 edge loops) is typed so that it is convenient to count. Dial 22. Do not forget to remove, without knitting, the first loop of the front row. What is also important is to create a pattern with that thread and just such a pattern with which you will begin to knit a sweater.
Step 3
Knit 7-10 cm and measure the width of the resulting fabric. For example, it is equal to 40 cm. Divide this value by the number of stitches in the pattern (without edging). It turned out that in this example 2 loops fit in 1 cm.
Step 4
Now measure your breast volume. In this case, you should get 2 values - the volume of the chest in front and behind. It is convenient to do it this way: put on a tight-fitting T-shirt, put the beginning of a measuring tape at the side seam. Draw it across the chest line and see how many centimeters are there before the second seam. Add 2 cm for seam allowances and 2-3 cm for a loose fit. In the same way, measure the chest line from the back and add 4-5 cm too.
Step 5
Start knitting a sweater from the shelf. Type the number of loops obtained by calculation. First, knit 4-7 cm with an elastic band (knit 2, purl 2), then with the main pattern. Often, "braids" are knitted on sweaters. Let's say you decide to make one vertical in the middle of the shelf.
Step 6
Mark the middle loop. Knit immediately after the elastic with the front stitch. Do not reach the 5 sts marked middle. Purl the fifth and fourth. Third, second, first - facial. You have reached the middle of the shelf. Now knit in mirror image - 3 stitches - knit, the next 2 - purl, and then, to the end of the row - knit stitch.
Step 7
Tie 4 rows in this way. The fifth will be on the front side. Remove the 3 front loops, which are in the middle of the shelf, onto a pin, the next 3 front loops, and knit - the front ones. Now put the three removed loops on the left knitting needle and also knit. In the same order, continue to form the "braid" pattern, which is easy to knit without a pattern.
Step 8
When you get to the armpit, 5 cm before it, begin to gradually add loops. Their number depends on the thickness of the yarn and the size. Apply the product to the one for whom you are knitting. It will be seen where to remove and where to add.
Step 9
Starting from the center, close the neck loops. In this case, knit the right side of the shelf with the main one, and the left side with another, additional ball. Close the shoulder seams.
Step 10
Create the back in the same way. Then sew these 2 pieces on the sides. Cast on the loops and tie the sleeves. Sew them into the right and left armholes.
Step 11
Cast on loops along the neckline and tie the collar of the sweater. Close the loops and wear a new thing or present it solemnly as a gift.
