The modern cityscape is hard to imagine without cars. From the variety of shapes and combinations of colors, the observer's eyes run up, and everyone can come up with their own unique model. Draw your dream car with a pencil. Any existing model can be taken as a basis.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - a simple pencil;
- - pictures depicting different cars.
Instructions
Step 1
Look at the pictures that show cars. You will see that the shape of any of them can be represented as a combination of several geometric shapes. Determine what these shapes are. The wheels are, of course, round. If you look at a car from the side, the upper part of its body most often resembles a trapezoid. The bottom can be in the form of a rectangle with beveled corners or it also looks like a trapezoid, the smaller base of which is at the bottom.
Step 2
Determine the approximate relationship between the length and height of the vehicle. Lay the sheet horizontally. Draw a horizontal line just above the bottom edge of the sheet. Mark the length of the car on it with dots. From these points, draw perpendiculars upward. Set the height of the car on them and connect the serifs with a straight line. You should have a rectangle drawn with a thin pencil.
Step 3
Divide the rectangle into 3 parts in height. The strip that will be at the very bottom represents the distance from the road to the bottom of the car. The middle part - from the bottom to the height of the hood and engine compartment. Well, the topmost strip is the distance between the hood lid and the car roof.
Step 4
Divide the line that is at the height of the hood into 3 parts. The segment ratio depends on the vehicle design. The outermost parts can be the same length. Estimate the angles of inclination of the front and rear windows to the bumper and hood. Connect all the marked points. You now have the outline of the car body.
Step 5
See how the wheel centers are located in relation to the lower points of the glass, as well as the approximate ratio of the size of the wheels to the length of the bottom of the car. Draw both wheels.
Step 6
Draw the windows. They can be thought of as trapezoids. Draw the outlines of the doors. Their lower parts most of all resemble rectangles. It remains to depict the headlights - and the car is ready.
