Speed, excitement and beauty are the three hallmarks of a sports car. To convey them on paper, you need a little time and, of course, desire. If you have both, then you can proceed.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide on the type of car and draw its base. Maybe it's a sports two-door model, or maybe a sports SUV. In any case, draw the frame of the car, the approximate arrangement of wheels, doors and other large parts. To make the drawing as realistic as possible, look at the photographs of the original when drawing. This will help you with the transfer of proportions, and in the future, and little things.
Step 2
Start drawing the little things. At this stage, it already becomes clear that this is a sports car. First of all, these are sports tires, a spoiler, as well as a body kit and sports stickers. Please note that the front bumper of a sports car, as a rule, protrudes a little, and even if the side and rear panels fit very organically into the car, the front is always slightly pulled forward. It is this detail that catches your eye so strongly when you see a sports car, and this is the reason to draw it just like that.
Step 3
Draw the rest of the little things. It is no longer necessary to copy the picture here. This can be the glare of the seats visible through the glass, the handles on the doors, the exhaust pipe and little things depicted on the wheels.
Step 4
Fill the car with speed. To make the car appear more realistic, depict it as driving, for which stretch the shadow a little under the wheels and along the back of the car. Rub the shadow a little to get a blur effect, or apply it artificially if you paint on a computer using the "Motion Blur" function.
Step 5
Give the car color and volume. When painting, keep in mind your drawings and stickers that you put on the car. Make sure that the main color and combination of decals look decent and the car does not look like a circus trailer. If the car has a matte and uniform color, play with shadows to add volume to the car. Again, you can easily experiment with the blur function or do it yourself using pencils.
