It is necessary

  • - 1 kg of thick woolen yarn;
  • - hook on the thickness of the thread;
  • - 6 large buttons;
  • - tape measure;
  • - graph paper.

Instructions

Step 1

Take measurements. You need to know the half-girths of the hips and chest, the length of the product from the base of the neck to the bottom of the product, the length of the shoulder, the depth of the armhole, the length and width of the sleeve and the width of the cuff.

Step 2

Build a pattern. From the intersection of the edge of the graph paper with one of the thick lines, set aside the length of the product. Draw a perpendicular to the resulting point and lay the half-girth of the hips on it. Draw lines parallel to the existing ones. Label the top line as AA1 and the bottom line as BB1. From points A and A1, set aside the depth of the armhole. Put points P and P1. Find the midpoint of the AA1 line. Set point A2 and set aside a measurement equal to 1/6 of the neck circumference from it to both sides. Connect the resulting points with points P and P1. You will have a raglan line. From point A2 up, set aside 2-3 cm for the height of the sprout.

Step 3

For a shelf pattern, divide the lines AA1 and BB1 in half, connect the middle with a straight line. You already have point A2, designate point B2. Determine the width of the plank and from points A1 and B1 in each direction set aside half of this measurement. The sprout does not need to be added. For the sleeve, draw a rectangle, the sides of which are equal to the length of the sleeve from the base of the neck through the end of the shoulder to the cuff, and the width is equal to the width of the sleeve. Draw the cuff below. Calculate the raglan. To do this, find the middle of the top line, set aside 1/12 of the girth on both sides. Place points A5 and A6. Down from points A3 and A4, set aside the depth of the armhole and connect these points with A5 and A6. Tie a sample and calculate the number of loops.

Step 4

Start knitting from the back. Cast on a chain of the required number of chain stitches. At the beginning of each row, do 2 chain stitches. The main knit is a fabric pattern. Knit the first row, alternating 1 double crochet, 1 simple stitch. Turn the knitting over and in the next row do a half-crochet over the crochet, and the double crochet over the simple crochet. From the third row, the pattern is repeated. The cardigan fits straight, so there is no need to make any subtractions to the raglan. On raglan, reduce the loops at the end of the row, knitting together a double crochet and a simple one. Knit the sprout straight.

Step 5

For the shelf, tie an air chain corresponding to the width of the shelf minus half the width of the strap. Knit with basic pattern until beginning of pocket. Determine its location. Having tied this part to the beginning, stop making the sidewalls of the shelf and knit only the outer part of the pocket in the same pattern. You should get a rectangle 10-12 cm high. Tie the last row with simple columns. Tighten the loop and break the thread. Return to the place where the shelf was interrupted. Attach yarn and tie a row, grabbing the loops of the pocket, then finish the row. In the next row, knit a shelf already, grabbing only the extreme pockets of the pocket. Do this until both parts are equal in height. Then knit straight to the raglan. Lower the raglan in the same way as on the back. You can make a slight decrease along the neckline - for example, removing 1 column after 3 rows. These hinges are then compensated for by additional rows of the strap. Tie the second shelf in a mirror image.

Step 6

Knit the cuff across. Tie a chain corresponding to the height. Alternate rows of double crochets and simple crochets. Finish the cuff where it connects to the sleeve. knit the first row of the sleeves with simple columns, then go to the drawing. You can make a uniform addition along the seam. Perform raglan. Tie the second sleeve and collect the cardigan.

Step 7

Start knitting a placket from the bottom corner of one of the shelves. Knit the first row with simple columns, trying to keep the strip evenly. The edges of the shelves and the top should not be pulled together. After knitting 4-5 rows, make loops. Tie to the hole, make a chain of air loops and skip the same number of columns. Then knit according to the picture. If you have decreased the loops at the neckline, make the collar slightly wider than the placket. Knit in shortened rows. Finish the placket and sew on the buttons.
