Roach is a commercial fish belonging to the carp family. It is one of the favorite trophies in float fishing. However, it should be noted that the number of some commercial subspecies (such as vobla, ram) is noticeably decreasing, and these species are in dire need of protection.
It is necessary
- Equipped fishing rod
- Lure
- Nozzle
Instructions
Step 1
At the very beginning, you need to decide on the place of fishing for roach. In principle, roach can be caught in all seasons, but you need to know some subtleties. In summer, most often roach bite in thickets and bays, feed on the current. In spring, the roach is at the bottom. The deeper the location you choose, the more likely you are to catch large roach.
Step 2
After choosing a place for fishing, you need to pick up a tackle. Usually roach is caught with a float rod. The roach float must be sensitive, the fish is very careful, and with "heavy" rigs, bites can be missed. The choice of hook depends on the type of bait and the expected size of the roach.
Step 3
Then, after equipping the rod, you need to "stick" the fish. To do this, you need to prepare groundbait. In the groundbait, you can use bread crumbs, pasta, crackers. And as a nozzle, soaked oatmeal, or semolina, has proven itself well.
Step 4
Roach bite is specific. The float bounces, and the sweep should be done when the float is immersed in the water. A large roach takes a nozzle like a bream - the float first lays down on the water, and then leaves to the side. When striking, a strong jerk is not required, since the roach is well spotted.
