It is necessary

  • - wooden frame;
  • - the cloth;
  • - white acrylic paint;
  • - gold acrylic paint;
  • - one-component craquelure varnish;
  • - hooks or wooden handles;
  • - synthetic winterizer;
  • - flat brush;
  • - screwdriver;
  • - self-tapping screws;
  • - glue gun;
  • - sponge.

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to prime the wood frame with white acrylic paint. Once the first coat of paint is dry, take a simple kitchen sponge and apply gold paint on it. The next layer will be craquelure varnish, which must be applied to the frame with a flat brush so that it always moves in the same direction. The varnish must dry for at least 2 hours.

Step 2

The varnish is dry. Now you can start further decorating the wooden frame. Apply another coat of white acrylic paint to it. Thus, you should have craquelure cracks. It was due to them that the effect of aging of the wooden surface was obtained.

Step 3

To fit the size of the stretcher, you need to cut out a piece of padding polyester. Also, under it from the fabric, you need to cut a flap with allowances of 10 centimeters, and on each side. Lay a synthetic winterizer on the stretcher, cover it with a cloth, and then fix it with a glue gun. If this is not available, then a furniture stapler will do. As a result, you get something like a small pillow.

Step 4

Next, you need to make handles for jewelry. To do this, use self-tapping screws to make holes in the resulting pad in those places that, in your opinion, are suitable for this. It remains to tighten the knobs. The frame-stand for jewelry is ready!
