It is necessary to depict the technique when drawing both a city landscape and a still life. In the first case, we are talking about self-propelled vehicles, in the second - about household appliances. In both cases, it is necessary to achieve the maximum likelihood of depicting technical devices.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully inspect the technical device that you want to depict from all sides. If we are talking about road technology, do not be lazy to go outside for this, taking with you a pencil and paper to create sketches. Memorize or sketch such details as the shape of individual elements of the appearance of the publication, the relative position of these elements relative to each other, the ratio of their sizes to each other.
Step 2
Do not start drawing a technical device from the body. First, depict those details of the external decoration that are in the foreground, especially if they protrude beyond the boundaries of the body and thereby obstruct them. This will allow you to do without partially erasing the borders of the body, which is especially important if the drawing is not done with a pencil, but with ink, felt-tip pen or paints. If you are not sure that you cannot do without erasing, first draw with a pencil and only then, after making all the necessary changes with the eraser, circle.
Step 3
Correctly convey the texture of the surface of the cabinet, controls, etc. Paint the matte surface evenly in one color or another, and on the glossy one depict glare, rare strokes of the same direction. Don't forget about perspective: the lines from the direction of the viewer should be diagonal.
Step 4
Technical devices often have luminous elements: various indicators, and vehicles - headlights and lanterns. Draw them lighter than not only the body, but even the background. You can also emphasize their glow with short strokes radiating from the source in all directions, but the appropriateness of such strokes depends on the style of the drawing.
Step 5
Draw fast moving vehicles slightly blurry. The same applies to rotating parts of devices that are stationary by themselves, such as fan blades. Finally, if the style of your drawing provides it, draw a shadow behind all the objects depicted on it.
