It is necessary

  • -napkin for decoupage
  • -preparation for a postcard
  • -file or film for packaging products
  • -iron
  • -acrylic paints
  • - contours for fabric
  • -scissors
  • -silk
  • -adhesive for decoupage
  • -acrylic lacquer

Instructions

Step 1

Separate the two lower layers of the decoupage napkin. Place a file or film for packaging food on the card, then cover the file with a napkin. Put a thin white sheet of paper on top of the napkin. You can use a sheet of copier paper. And iron the sheet with an iron several times. Then cut off the excess edges of the napkin to fit the postcard.

Step 2

Acrylic paints to highlight the colors on the card. Do not be afraid to mix colors on the palette to achieve the desired shade. Highlight the necessary details with the contours. Contours with a metallic or pearlescent sheen look good. They will give an elegant look to your handmade postcard.

Step 3

You can make decoupage on a postcard using silk as a base. For this we need glue for decoupage on fabric and silk. We pre-fix the silk on the postcard. We smear one side of the silk with a glue stick and glue it to the card.

Step 4

Then we cut out the desired motif from the napkin, separating the two lower layers. Place the motif on silk and apply decoupage glue to the motif with a soft brush. We straighten the folds on the napkin, if necessary, help with our fingers, ironing the napkin. After the decoupage on the card has completely dried, add colors with acrylic paints and contours. We decorate with lace.
