Have you received a wonderful bouquet of roses? If desired, this bouquet can not only stand in a vase for one and a half to two weeks. Bouquet roses can also be grown at home. A rose is a rather capricious flower. To grow it at home, certain conditions must be met. The rose needs loose soil, light, fresh air, the air temperature is not lower than +10. It is better to root the rose in late spring and early summer.
It is necessary
A cut rose, a sharp knife, a stimulant for the formation of roots, potassium permanganate or "brilliant green", a glass jar or a cut bottle, a substrate for planting, a pot
Instructions
Step 1
Soak roses in clean water. The rose should be immersed until the buds. When the rose begins to shed its petals, you can cut the cuttings.
Step 2
Cut the cuttings as follows: each cut should have 2 buds. The lower cut is oblique. Make it 6-7 mm from the lower kidney. The upper cut is straight. Make it over the top kidney at a distance of 2-3 cm. Use only a sharp knife.
Step 3
Either remove or cut the rose leaves in half. Cauterize the slices with potassium permanganate or brilliant green. Treat the lower cut of the cutting with a rooting stimulant.
Step 4
Prepare the substrate for planting the cuttings: 1 part sand + 1 part garden soil. Plant the cutting in a pot: cover the lower bud with earth, and the upper bud will remain on the surface.
Step 5
Water. Cover with a glass jar or cut-off plastic bottle. This will create a greenhouse effect. If the soil is dry, water the roses without removing the greenhouse.
Step 6
When the first leaves appear (about 3 weeks), open the jar for a few minutes. Increase the time every day. This will teach the plant to fresh air.
Cut the first rosebuds.
