If you have a desire to decorate an ordinary glass glass, then use the decoupage technique. This is a napkin sticking technique. Although it sounds strange, it looks very interesting and original.
It is necessary
- - glass beaker or mug;
- - three-layer napkins;
- - scissors;
- - acrylic lacquer;
- - acrylic paints;
- - brushes.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all required accessories. Degrease the glass with dish soap or glass cleaner.
Step 2
Cut a not very wide strip from the napkin. If the glass has a handle, then such that it passes through the hole. Remove the white napkin layers.
Step 3
Place the napkin on the glass. Then use a brush to apply acrylic varnish to the napkin from the center to the sides with light strokes. Do not press down on the brush too hard, it may tear the napkin. When applying varnish, lift the napkin a little so that it stretches and does not form wrinkles.
Step 4
Cut a circle out of a napkin with a diameter equal to the diameter of the bottom of the glass. Peel off the white napkin layers.
Step 5
Place the circle right side to the bottom of the glass. Apply varnish.
Step 6
Let the varnish dry.
Step 7
Apply white paint over the napkin to make the drawing on the other side brighter. Then apply paint to match the color of the glass. When the paint is dry, coat it again with varnish.
Step 8
Cover the glass completely with varnish. Wait until it is completely dry and then cover with another coat of varnish. Once completely dry, your mug is ready. It can be washed and used at home.
