Although the era of vinyl is long gone, musicians still refer to their albums with an outdated term - record. The songs on it are united according to one principle or another: time of writing, genre, instrumental composition, plot or other idea. The number of songs varies on average from one (single) to ten to twelve (full album) or even twenty (double).
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your repertoire. Even if you are recording one song, it must be played so well that each musician can perform the part with their eyes closed. If there are more songs, then, in addition to the quality of performance, take care of the order of the tracks: chronological, plot, conceptual or other.
Step 2
Record your music in a professional studio. You will not save if each musician plays a part for recording on a home computer: later you will have to clean up too much noise and overtones, get rid of a lot of falseness and other defects. The sound engineer will do the same thing faster and possibly cheaper.
Step 3
CD and cover artwork is the job of a professional artist. If the team has a logo, give them a good quality large volume file with this image. If you have any general wishes, express them. For the rest, rely on its taste. He will redo the drawing if necessary.
Step 4
In addition to the decoration, the disc box must contain information about copyright, year of release, track titles and numbers, duration of sounding, names of musicians, sound engineer, artist, lyricist and other album members. Better yet, add the lyrics of all or selected songs, a group photo.
Step 5
Recording and design of discs and boxes is carried out in almost any publishing house. Contact any of them that offers disc duplication services, order a batch, indicate the number of discs. Some time after payment, you will be able to pick up the finished discs, with a picture and in beautifully designed boxes.
