Nintendo DS is a popular handheld game console. A large number of exclusive games have been released for the console, which are often quite problematic to find in stores. However, the device can run games downloaded from the Internet.

Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a special adapter for Nintendo DS that can read USB sticks of various formats. You can buy it in a specialized game store or order it online. This adapter is about the size of a regular DS cartridge that ships regular Nintendo games. Most models of such adapters are designed for Micro SD and SDHC cards with a capacity of no more than 4 GB.
Step 2
Download the latest Nintendo DS firmware from the Internet. Insert the USB flash drive into the computer's card reader and unpack the firmware file onto it using any archiver (for example, the WinRAR program).
Step 3
Create a folder where you will download the game for the console. The directory must contain only Latin letters in its name (for example, nds).
Step 4
Go to any site with games for your console, select the file you want and download it. Any downloaded programs must have the nds extension.
Step 5
Move the downloaded game to the folder created on the flash drive. Remove the SD card from the slot of the computer, insert it into the adapter. Connect the cartridge to the attachment. Turn on your console and select the downloaded game from the list.
Step 6
Many DS apps support the Nintendo WFC protocol, which allows other users to play games over the Internet using Wi-Fi. To use this feature, make sure there is a Wi-Fi hotspot nearby.
Step 7
Go to the game and select the Nintendo WFC section, go to Settings - Wi-Fi connection Settings. In the list, select an empty connection, click on Search for an Access Point, wait for the search to end. Select the found point.
Step 8
Return to the Nintendo WFC menu, click WFC Match. Confirm the connection to the server and write down the displayed friend code. In the list of players, select your opponents, wait for the opponents to appear on the display.
