You don't have to shoot the best to win Counter-Strike. Sometimes it is enough to behave more cunningly than everyone else using auxiliary tools. One of them is radar, which helps to navigate the battlefield.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the game settings. Pay attention to whether the "Radar" item is enabled in the "Interface" menu.

Remember if you have installed mods for the game lately. Because of them, the option to turn on the radar may not work. To get it back, you need to find on the Internet and download the hud.txt file for Counter-Strike. Place it in the game / cstrike directory. Check if the option to turn on the radar appears in the game menu.
Step 3
Use the console. In the main settings window, check the "Activate console" checkbox. During a single player game, click on the tilde (~) key, which will open the command line. Use the drawradar and hideradar commands to enable or disable the radar. In addition, cl_radartype (with a value of 1 or 0) will be a useful command, which is responsible for the presence or absence of a transparent minimap.

Install cheats. Remember that while they provide an invaluable advantage in combat, they are not fair to other players. In addition to the well-known aimbot and wallhack, the RADAR cheat is often used, which allows you to display the location of enemies and allies on the map. For the convenience of controlling the radar, you can download the RADAR modification to your computer and unpack it into the Counter-Strike horse folder. Open the startup file, remembering the key that activates the cheat.
Step 5
Try changing the skin of the radar to make it more visible. To do this, create yourself or download an archive with a new radar image and copy it to any folder on your hard drive. It contains several files in *.spr format. Unpack them into the / sprites directory in the game's root directory. If the names of any files are the same, delete their old versions (but it is better to keep a backup copy that can be restored). If the specified folder does not exist, create it yourself.
