While teaching fire safety techniques, teachers often instruct children to draw a fire. The child, completing the task, begins to understand the whole horror of the elements and the importance of this lesson. Help your child cope with the task and once again talk about the dangers of playing with fire.

Instructions
Step 1
Think with your child what kind of fire he can draw. It can be a rampant fire in a forest, a fire in a house or in a public building. Select the size of the sheet on which you will perform the task. If the drawing is not for presentation or competition, use a simple scrapbook sheet. The picture intended for participation in the competition must be done on a sheet of Whatman paper.
Step 2
Choose what you will paint with. The markers are bright, but leave marks on the back of the paper. Paints such as gouache give a rich color and, by mixing them, you can get new shades using the palette. Watercolors will not give the hardness required for this drawing.
Pencils don't leave any marks, they don't need to dry, but they are dull enough to paint such a picture. Think about the color of the various details in the drawing. You cannot combine parts painted with pencils and, for example, felt-tip pens. If you have chosen paints, you need to paint the entire drawing with them only.
Step 3
Having chosen the tools for the work, proceed to the choice of the plot. Will there be any characters in your drawing, or will you only draw the site of the fire. Pay attention to the details, whether the culprits of the fire (matches, a fire, an unextinguished cigarette butt) will be present in the image, or the flame will destroy all evidence. Consider a technique for depicting the fire itself. Will it be a faint fire that just lit up, or will it be a raging flame. When you think over the drawing itself, you can bring your ideas to life.
Step 4
Draw the outlines of the main objects with a pencil. Look at the pictures of the raging flames - choose the appropriate shades of color from the palette. The element of fire leaves behind a gray-black ash and burns out all other colors. To express with your drawing all the horror of the fire, you can use only the color palette of fire and ash.
Help your child cope with this task, so that he was interested, you can use cartoon characters as characters in the picture. Show how this vibrant, colorful world can be destroyed with just one match.
