To create a drawing that will be associated with the war, you can choose several subjects. You can draw a large-scale scene of a battle, one or two soldiers, or a city destroyed by shelling. In each of these cases, you need to especially carefully work out the individual parts of the drawing, which are not so important in other paintings.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - pencil;
- - eraser;
- - paints;
- - brushes;
- - palette;
- - a container for water.
Instructions
Step 1
If you decide to draw a large-scale battle scene, take a large sheet of paper (at least A3) and lay it horizontally. Your main task is to correctly depict the figures of people and arrange them harmoniously on paper space. First, determine the overall composition - draw outlines the main masses of the drawing - crowds of people, military equipment, trees, mountains, etc.
Step 2
Make a rough sketch of the landscape and move on to drawing the figures of people. To make them believable, find pictures of people fighting, take screenshots of films about the war. Also, each pose can be modeled on a hinged wooden human figurine. Build a skeleton for each participant in the battle from the lines representing the spine, arms and legs. Then add volume to the shapes, draw clothes and weapons.
Step 3
Before depicting a real battle scene, study the materials about it so that the picture fits the story. Find out what the uniform of the soldiers looked like, what was the disposition of the troops and in what conditions the battle took place - these features will need to be reflected in the drawing.
Step 4
However, it is not necessary to draw dozens of people, two will be enough. You can portray a soldier during a battle or a short respite. The principle of building a human figure is the same here. Along with the elaboration of the anatomy, the importance of the elaboration of the costume and facial expressions of the characters increases. You can copy the characteristic features of the uniform from the photo. When drawing faces, you will also have to use a hint. Find photos of people with appropriate facial expressions - fatigue, tension or aggression on their faces - and transfer these features to the drawing.
Step 5
Associations with war can arise when looking at a drawing in which there will not be a single person. You can depict a city destroyed after the bombing. First, draw a pencil "frame" of entire buildings, then draw holes in their walls and roofs, fragments of bricks and boards, broken glass, thrown things. To color the picture, use paints in dark, dirty shades. For contrast, you can paint a bright patch of greenery that has grown in a crack in the asphalt or against a destroyed wall.
