The best presents are handmade, because a person will be able to appreciate your care for him, understand how much you love and respect him. Even if you have already made or bought a gift, it will be very helpful to draw a drawing for your birthday and give it to the birthday boy on this special day.

Instructions
Step 1
Remember all the hobbies of the birthday man, what he likes, his attitude to humor and life. Think about what he would like to see in your drawing. If you want to congratulate a fisherman or hunter, play with this theme. For lovers of needlework or knitting, come up with something original related to their hobby. Try drawing your child's favorite cartoon characters or idols.
Step 2
Think over the composition of the picture, what will be in the center and what will be behind, whether you need a frame, etc. If you are planning to draw a humorous plot, think carefully about all the details. Take into account the peculiarities of color perception, bright colors look more cheerful and fun, but soft bed tones are suitable for a gentle romantic picture.
Step 3
Choose the way you will paint. If you are a fan of traditional painting, take a sheet of good quality thick white paper and sketch out the outlines of the future masterpiece with a simple pencil. If you yourself do not draw very well, open a suitable picture in a computer or in a magazine, attach a piece of paper and trace the translucent contours. Then color in the drawing with paints, crayons or felt-tip pens.
Step 4
If you like originality, draw a congratulatory drawing with something unusual. To do this, also sketch out the contours with a pencil, and then paint with multi-colored plasticine, you can even use fluorescent plasticine, which glows in the dark. Another option: spread the pattern with transparent glue and lay out with various bulk materials - peas, cereals, beads, bugles, sequins, shells.
