Threading a needle has long ceased to be a problem, for this special tools have been invented - needle threaders. But in order to make a beautiful and inconspicuous knot at the end of the thread, the garment industry has not yet offered any "helpers". To make the knot even, not shaggy, without a protruding thread, you will have to practice.
Instructions
Step 1
To tie a knot right at the end with one hand, wrap the thread around your index finger for two or three turns so that its tip does not stick out, roll the resulting turns and clamp them between your thumb and forefinger. Twist them into one ring with finger movements, as if you were twisting a pencil or salt food, and make them into a knot by gently pulling on the thread.
Step 2
If the tip remains sticking out, try to modify the technique: in free flight, tie a simple knot, pinch the small tail with the fingers of your left hand, and roll the knot with your right hand to the very end of the thread - the knot will fit exactly where you wish.
Step 3
It is quite easy to "drive" a loose knot over a needle to "aim" for its location. Thread the needle, then knot the two ends of the thread where it is convenient for you, but do not tighten, insert the same needle into the knot and tighten it directly on the needle. Now grab the thread with your left hand, and with your right hand take aside the needle with a knot on it. That's it, the knot "ran", you just have to choose a place for it - at the very end of the thread
Step 4
If the "rolled" knot did not succumb to you, make an "air" knot. Fold the thread in half, thread it through the needle, make the first stitch, after which thread the loop. A quick, simple and inconspicuous knot is ready.
Step 5
In order not to tie a knot at all, when starting to sew, press the end of the thread to the fabric with the fingers of your left hand and sew three to four tight stitches through it in place. This will fix it and become a kind of knot. But this method is only suitable for dense fabrics.
