For a narrow tie, the especially popular semi-windsor is suitable. It is a little more complicated, but much more symmetrical. Slip the tie over the collar again. The wide end should again be longer and in the right hand. Wrap it around the narrow one once and fold it to the wrong side.

Wrap around the narrow end again and fold outward. Pull the end through the knot. Straighten the tie, adjust the tension and length, and attach the clip.
