When you make an architectural model or a historical reconstruction on a reduced scale, you cannot do without all sorts of vegetation that enlivens the landscape and brings it as close to reality as possible. If you still do not know how to make trees in a layout, do not be intimidated by this - armed with imagination and improvised materials, you can make quite believable small copies of them.

- - green aerosol paint in several shades,
- - hard glue brush,
- - foam rubber,
- - meat grinder,
- - PVA glue,
- - dry moss,
- - hand-held collet mini-drill,
- - instant glue,
- - aerosolized nitro lacquer,
- - artistic varnish with strong hold.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the forest or the nearest park, find dry tree branches with a length of 30-20 cm or less, depending on the scale of the layout. Choose branches that are similar in shape to the trunk and branches of a tree, you can pick up small, beautifully branched branches, which can then be glued to the main trunk of the copy. Find thick, beautiful moss to simulate branches and foliage. Arriving home, lay out your "prey" to dry. You can cover the windowsill with newspaper for this. Disassemble the moss into separate "branches" and also dry.
Step 2
Trim the branches with a clerical knife, give them the desired shape and length. Sharpen the upper tips of the branches. If necessary, paint the trunk of the tree with a gray-brown paint, similar in color to the bark of a natural tree. Using a hand-held mini-drill collet, drill holes in the right places and glue small branches in them with instant glue, form a crown. Cover the "trunk" and branches with varnish and hang from the base of the trunk to dry.
Step 3
Pass a piece of foam through a meat grinder several times. Divide the resulting small crumbs into two or three parts and paint them with green spray paint in several tones, these will be leaves.
Step 4
Paint the moss branches with any green spray paint, spread the branchy part with PVA glue and sprinkle it with foam rubber sprinkle - foliage. Let dry. Then, on those places where the foam rubber does not stick, reapply the glue and sprinkle them again. Dry.
Step 5
Assemble the blank of the trunk, crown and branches of the tree into a single structure. Glue the branches with instant glue from the top to the bottom of the trunk. To keep the branches well, you can first drill small holes with a drill at an angle to the axis of the trunk and branches, this will give the vegetation a natural look. Then drip instant glue into these holes and secure the branch in it. Cover the finished tree with nitro varnish by spraying it from an aerosol can.
