Aeromodelling is a hobby for children, which can develop into an adult's hobby. The word "modeling" refers to making a plane with your own hands, not buying it from a store. Even a beginner can make it from inexpensive materials. And in order to control such an aircraft from a distance, you will need to install radio equipment on it.

It is necessary

Ceiling tile without embossed pattern, plywood 3 mm thick, Titan glue, stationery knife, measuring ruler, wooden ruler (50 cm), colored tape, electronics, radio control equipment, aircraft model drawing, sandpaper, basic knowledge of aviation terminology

Instructions

Step 1

Print out a drawing of the airplane model that can be found on the Internet. Then stick it onto the ceiling tile, taking into account the "grain direction" defined by bending the tile sheet in different directions. Place each piece along its "grain".

Step 2

Glue the wing and fuselage from two layers of tiles by inserting a wooden ruler cut in half between the halves. At the front of the fuselage, make a cutout for the electric motor, reinforcing it with plywood overlays.

Step 3

Make the keel and stabilizer from one layer, cutting off the rudder and elevator from them. Then glue them with tape so that the steering surfaces deviate freely relative to the horizontal tail. Glue the steering brackets into the rudder and elevator.

Step 4

Glue the aircraft parts together. Cover the model with colored tape with an overlap of 5 - 7 mm. Install the engine and electronics. Place the battery so that the center of gravity of the aircraft is at a distance of 1/3 of the wing chord from the leading edge. Check the model for gliding with the engine off. Achieve a smooth descent by moving the battery forward or backward.

Now start flying the airplane with the engine running.
