You and your child are inspired by the exploits of pilots, do you like to watch the "peak" and "loop"? But not everyone will be able to decide to fly on their own, but it is quite affordable to control an aircraft model. You can even make your own plane with a remote control. There are many options, but you can start with the simplest: make an airplane with a control panel from aluminum cans. In addition, the process will delight not only a child, but also an adult.

It is necessary

8 empty 0.5 liter beer cans, wooden board, jigsaw, aluminum, keychain flashlight, spring, screw, motor

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the cans lengthwise. Cut the bottom and top to form a rectangular sheet.

Cut out the frame of the planned plane with a jigsaw from wood as you think is more suitable for flight. Most often, the frame is made oval.

Step 2

Glue the main wing of the aircraft (join two wings into one). Then sheathe it with sheets of aluminum obtained from the cut cans. You should end up with one fully sheathed wing.

Step 3

Insert the motor and the electronics you conceived by design into the body of the aircraft.

Attach the structural wing to the finished and sheathed hull. This is best done with liquid nails.

Step 4

Install the screw, which must be made of a heavier material, so that it rotates to generate enough force to lift the case into the air.

Step 5

Now the remote control. Take your regular keychain flashlight. Disassemble it and you will find a contact closure circuit operated by the forward and backward buttons. Cut off all unnecessary elements from the bottom, glue these 2 contacts. One on the bottom, the second on the side.

Step 6

Attach a spring and a small plate to the power button. Solder both contacts together and assemble the remote control.

The airplane with the control panel is ready. By screws!
