But what can I say, many adults sometimes also "flirt" with homemade toys, only the scale is different. Both will need a motor for their inventions, which will take over the so-called "draft" force. But the question arises: where to get it or how to make it?

Take a regular paper clip and wrap a wire around it. Put a magnet on the bottom, apply current to a paper clip and the simplest motor is ready! The same principle is at the heart of the wheel-motor for bicycles, only instead of a paper clip, a wheel. The same can be used in a small airplane.
Step 2
Although it is generally known that motors of the same size can vary significantly in power. This is due to the fact that they use different magnets and different wire thicknesses. An ordinary magnet can lift no more than 1 kg of weight, while there are rare earth magnets that are capable of lifting 180 kg at the size of a coin.
Step 3
Accordingly, the power of the motor depends on which magnet is in it, because if you apply current to the wire, a magnetic field is formed. Therefore, based on the size of the intended or existing aircraft, select the appropriate magnet for the motor.
