Many folk signs and beliefs are associated with money. Among them is the prohibition to give money from hand to hand, especially in the evening. Where did this attitude to finance come from and why did such prohibitions come about?
Where did the beliefs come from?
Of course, all such superstitions "grow legs" from pagan times. Our distant ancestors believed that money should be treated in a special way, with respect, and that certain rules should be followed, then money will not “offend you” and will be found in the house. In fact, the qualities of an animate being were attributed to money. So, if you “let out” money from the house after sunset, instead of letting them spend the night, the money may be offended or forget the way home - and never come back. At the same time, it is believed that it is undesirable not only to lend after sunset, but also to borrow. To repay debts is supposed to be in the morning - then money will be found.
According to popular belief, if you borrow money for a growing month, and return it on the waning moon, and preferably in small bills or coins, this will attract wealth to your home.
What if the debtor brought money in the evening?
If your debtor decides to return the money to you after sunset, of course, you should not refuse them - who knows if the return in this case will be delayed indefinitely? But if you want to do everything "according to the rules" and not incur financial bad luck, do not take money from hand to hand. Ask the debtor to drop the bills on the floor and then collect them. So at the same time you will perform a ritual that should attract wealth to you.
By the way, in the store it is also better not to pass money from hand to hand, but to put it in a special plate and take change from it.
Just do not forget at the same time: you should take money with your left hand, but give it only with your right.
How to borrow and repay money correctly
Try to borrow money from others more often and borrow less yourself. By lending to another, you are, as it were, asking the money to return. It is always better to pay off your debts in smaller bills than they took. Do not lend on Monday, otherwise your money will melt all week. And it is not worth paying for large purchases on this day - for the same reason. But it is undesirable to return the loan on Friday.
Avoid borrowing on Tuesday - it is believed that in this case there is a chance to spend your whole life in debt.
Believe in omens or not believe - it's up to you. It is believed that for everyone exactly what he believes in will come true. However, there is a completely reasonable explanation for this: after all, expecting failure (or, conversely, profit), you seem to subconsciously attract it to yourself. So, it may be wiser to believe only in good omens - and most importantly, not to lend money to unreliable people!
