Almost all adults remain children at heart, therefore, with the appearance of their own children, they often begin to “play” themselves, in particular, glue models with the child, cut paper dolls, make homemade coloring pages and come up with other “handicraft” entertainments. One of the most popular types of crafts is creating a cardboard house in which your baby's toys could settle.

A cardboard house can be the simplest and most schematic, or it can turn into a real work of art - it all depends on your imagination, the amount of free time and the desire to do something with your own hands. You can create a toy house for your daughter or son, either alone or with your child. Below are some tips to help you plan your job and purchase all the supplies you need in advance. A toy house made of cardboard can become not only a place for play, but also a convenient storage for toys. Therefore, first, decide what kind of toys it is intended for - calculate the scale of the cardboard structure, the dimensions of future windows and doors. It may be worth making the roof of the house as a cover. Draw yourself or download on the Internet the future details of the house (stencils, according to which you will cut cardboard). You will need cardboard (you can buy cardboard boxes, for example, at the post office), scissors, PVA glue (and a glue stick if you decide to stick wallpaper made of thinner colored paper in the house), a pencil, an eraser, an office cutter (it is convenient for them to cut doors and windows). To create the interior of the house, any materials will come in handy - colored paper, pieces of fabric, wire, plasticine, and so on. Print the stencils downloaded from the Internet (or cut out those that you drew yourself on usually thin paper), fold the preliminary house out of them - check if you forgot to make indents so that you can glue the details, whether the future doors and windows are located correctly. After that, you can circle the stencils on the cardboard and cut out the details of the future house. You can make a house from a ready-made box, then you will have to glue and calculate less. If your house will have two floors, then first arrange the first floor, and then put a cardboard partition for the second floor. You can make a ladder in the house, or you can do without it - this is a rather laborious part, and it can take up a lot of space. Do not forget to provide easy access to the ground floor - for example, an opening side wall. Wallpaper can be made by downloading samples of any color on the Internet or by painting them yourself with your child. Stick pictures on the walls, hang curtains from pieces of fabric on the windows. Furniture in the house can be paper, wood, wire and any other materials at hand.
