Step 1
It is better to order a family photo by a professional photographer. Consult with acquaintances. Surely one of them has already ordered such pictures. You can take pictures in the studio, at home or on the street.
Step 2
Tell your family about your idea. Each of them must adjust their plans. Schedule a few days when all your family members will be more or less free. It is advisable to have more time, because everyone will need to put themselves in order. In addition, it is better for the photographer to offer a few days to choose from, because he has other orders.
Step 3
Agree on a time and place. It is advisable to take several pictures and choose the best one, and this takes at least an hour. Tell us how many people will be filming, their age and gender. Take an interest in the color scheme of the clothes. Flashy colors or too variegated patterns are not very desirable. You will still choose yourself, but it is useful to take into account the opinion of a specialist. Much depends on where you would like to be photographed with your loved ones.

A joint trip to a photo studio is an exciting event. There will inevitably be a bustle in the house, and it cannot but affect the children. Try to calm the little ones. Try to create a festive mood for them. Tell that you will send a photo to your grandmother in another city, and you want everyone to be beautiful and happy.

When deciding to take a classic family photo with everyone standing or sitting side by side, sit as close as possible. You are close to each other, and it should be visible in the picture. However, everyone should be seen. Listen to what the photographer is advising you. He took such pictures more than once, you liked his work, you chose this master because you trust him. But you may have your own ideas.

If you nevertheless decide to conduct a family photo session without involving outsiders, prepare for it properly. You, of course, have a camera, otherwise you would not have dared to do this. In the same way as in the first case, choose a free day.

Check the camera settings. Set the image type to RAWI, set the maximum quality, open the iris fully. It makes sense to experiment with aperture. Arrange the participants in the photo session as you see fit, and take several shots with different apertures. Choose the best option.

You can also make a family photo in the form of a collage. This, of course, will not be a classic shot, but it is very suitable for a gift to relatives or interior decoration. The advantage of such a photo is that it is not necessary to collect everyone at the same time in the same place. Take pictures of your loved ones in different situations. Transfer the photo to your computer. Create a new file in Adobe Photoshop, set the dimensions and resolution. If you want to print your work, please make a resolution of at least 300 dpr.
