Many people know how to knit, because it is so convenient to update your wardrobe with minimal financial losses. Many who have come across knitting sweaters have a question about how to knit a bat sweater?
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start knitting, know that a "bat" is a sweater whose sleeve is not set-in, but one-piece. In the knitting technique of such a sweater, you need to add loops along the back and front as you knit. Explaining more clearly, if on a regular sweater you need to dissolve the side seams and seams of the sleeves, and leave the shoulder seams sewn, you get a kind of cross with a hole in the place of the neck.
Step 2
Find a detailed knitting pattern with the calculated number of loops. Start knitting with a set of sleeve loops, adding them according to the pattern. As a rule, they dial 38-44 loops and knit with a relief pattern every 6 cm, which are equal to 12 rows, and then add another loop on both sides of the typesetting edge.
Step 3
After 94 rows or 47 cm on each side, cast on 43 more loops, as many as possible - depending on your size. After 122 rows from the typesetting, divide the work in half and first tie the back, and then, according to the same principle, in front.
Step 4
Please note that the loops on the back and in front of the product are added 10 on each side. The total number of loops should be equal to the length of the back plus the width of the sleeve, add the length of the front to the total.
Step 5
Knit the neckline by simply closing the loops in the center. Close first 2 loops on each side, then three, etc. until you get the desired neck size.
Step 6
To knit the second sleeve, close all the loops of the front and back and knit the sleeve with a relief, decreasing the loop in each row on each side. If there is a pattern on the sweater, then try to arrange it so that it does not go under the sleeve, otherwise, when grinding the garments, you risk mowing the loops.
Step 7
Keep in mind that such a sweater looks very impressive due to cross-knitting, which fits very well and interestingly, but knitting with different stitches of sleeves and a cloth is not recommended, because knitting visually separates the sleeve from the product. This is contrary to the very essence of the "bat".
