Sculpting is a wonderful activity that develops motor skills in children very well. The year of the horse is coming, so I propose to make a horse out of plasticine with your own hands. Spend time with your child in an interesting and exciting way!
Instructions
Step 1
First, of course, you need to take into account the fact that it is not so easy to mold a plasticine horse. Therefore, you should be patient and show diligence in such a difficult task. You should also look at all sorts of pictures and decide on the choice of what kind of horse to make. If your child is still small, then take the simpler option, that is, without drawing small details. The simplest option is when the horse consists of a head, legs, body and tail.
Step 2
So let's get down to business. We sculpt the body from plasticine sausages. Then we roll the head of the future horse in the form of a ball, after which it must be pulled out a little with our fingers. This will make the animal's face. We make the legs, like the body, also from sausages, only now they are thin. To make the horse more stable, you should attach the legs to the body either with a wire or using toothpicks.
Step 3
If your child is good at sculpting, then you can try to work out the horse's legs, that is, make them already with some small details. Now let's attach the head to the body of the animal. This must be done in the same way as with the legs, that is, with a toothpick. Then we attach the ears. They will be in the form of triangles.
Step 4
Well, the mane and tail remain. They can be made either from plasticine, or from woolen threads, or from plain colored paper. Do not feel sorry for the tail of the material, it should be lush. The mane should be slightly thrown onto the sides of the body. For finishing touches such as mouth, nostrils, and eyes, use a toothpick. Good luck!
