A horse is molded in the same way as the process of making any other plasticine animal. The body of the horse, head and legs are molded from the pieces, and then everything is connected together and supplemented with small details.

It is necessary

  • - plasticine of white, orange and black colors;
  • - plastic disposable knife;
  • - matches or toothpicks to give elasticity to the legs.

Instructions

Step 1

Mash up the white plasticine to make it more pliable. Divide the whole piece into four parts: one large for the body, two smaller for sculpting the legs of the horse and a small one for the head. Roll the sausages out of the leg pieces and divide each into two. Remember that less plasticine is required to sculpt the horse's front legs, because they are thinner.

Step 2

Sculpt the horse's torso. It is a sausage that tapers on one side, this will be the croup of the animal. Using your index finger and thumb, gently pull the horse's neck from the side where the sausage is wider. Make your neck long enough. If the plasticine is not dense enough, attach a piece of a match to the body and sculpt the neck around it.

Step 3

Blind the horse's head. It looks like an oval, slightly elongated on the side where the horse has a jaw. Use your index finger to sculpt the brow ridges on the head, gently pull back two ears, point them towards the horse's nose.

Step 4

Shape the horse's legs. If the sculpting material is too plastic, use matches or toothpicks as a frame. Remember that the front legs are slimmer, while the hind legs have a well-defined, dense thigh.

Step 5

Connect all the details. Using smudging finger movements, attach your head to your neck and legs to your torso. Make sure the horse is on its feet and they don't buckle.

Step 6

Knead a small amount of orange plasticine to create a tail and mane. Form a flat long oval, fold it like an accordion and attach it to the horse's head in such a way that part of this part covers the muzzle, and the other falls down the neck. Blind the tail into an elongated drop and attach it to the horse's rump.

Step 7

Pinch off a tiny piece of black plasticine, divide it in two, roll up the balls and attach them to the face, these are the eyes of the horse. Use a plastic disposable knife to draw the line of the horse's mouth.
