Tulka, or Caspian sprat, is a type of small commercial fish, which is considered by fishermen to be a good bait for large predatory fish, for example, pike perch or bersh (perch).
It is necessary
- - tulka;
- - jig;
- - fishing rod with line;
- - nod;
- - baubles;
- - harpoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy in a store or catch a tulka, but do not defrost it again: this fish is very oily and with repeated frosts and subsequent thawing falls apart on the hook. Do not be discouraged if the tulka turns brown after defrosting; a change in color does not affect its baiting qualities. Choose medium-sized fish, no more than 5 cm.
Step 2
For sprat fishing, choose a regular fishing rod with a 0.35 diameter line on a reel, a springy nod and a leash. The bait must be accompanied by a rig in the form of a glow-in-the-dark or painted bright yellow jig and several additional hooks, double or triple. Lure or jig head (lead sinker) can also act as bait.
Step 3
Place the tulle on the hook in different ways and check which one works for you. Depending on the place of fishing, the current, the strength of the wind, a predator fish is more likely to bite at a fish hooked either across or by the tail, then in two punctures - in a semicircle or dividing the body and head. It is better to put on a tee hook across the tulle. Try adding a worm to the sprat as well.
Step 4
When fishing with tulka, do not sit in one place for a long time, experiment with different tactics. Try tossing a fishing rod with bait about ten centimeters at regular intervals in the water, then sit (wait) passively for a while. When biting, even weak, do not change the hole or fishing spot, wait for the second bite. Keep a sharp harpoon handy at all times.
