The cheerful and bright characters of the animated series "The Simpsons" captivated viewers all over the world. Their images look at us from T-shirts, postcards and other promotional items. You may also want to decorate some wardrobe item with them. Drawing The Simpsons is not difficult. To do this, you must know the principles of depicting cartoon characters. Considering that your drawing will include five family members, you will have to work five times more.
It is necessary
- - writing instrument (pencil, pen, felt-tip pen);
- - album sheet;
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by drawing a rounded shape for each Simpsons head. After that, think about the location of the guide lines that show where the main elements of the faces are. Draw curved lines from the intended crown to the upper lips. They define the middle of the face. Then draw two horizontal lines each to represent the top and bottom edges of the eyes. The shapes of the bodies at this stage can be depicted as a combination of simple triangles with smooth lines and dashes that determine the location of the limbs. The initial drawing frame is now complete.
Step 2
The next thing to do is start sketching out the outlines of the faces. Draw the eyes, nose and mouth for Homer Simpson and Marge. Add eyelashes. Marge is very popular for her hairstyle. Draw tall hair. Don't forget to wavy the hem as Marge has curly hair. To depict Homer's hairstyle, you need to draw two thin lines on the top of his head and one zigzag line opposite the eyes. Since the heads of the characters are slightly turned, you will have to draw only five ears.
Step 3
Move on to drawing the faces of Lisa, Bart and Maggie. The girls' hair looks the same and looks like spikes. Bart's hairstyle is drawn with small teeth and is called "hedgehog". Label the ears for the whole family. Maggie is a very small girl, so she is always painted with a pacifier in her mouth.
Step 4
The shortest stage is the designation of the pupils in the Simpsons. Depending on which part of the eyes you draw the pupils, the expressions on the faces of the characters and the direction of their gaze will change.
Step 5
The heads are ready, draw the bodies. Draw two hands for each family member. Note that the Simpsons have four fingers on each hand. Marge and Lisa have pearl beads around their necks. Draw Maggie's entire body, and don't forget the cute bow on her head. Dress Homer in a short-sleeved shirt and trousers, and Bart in a T-shirt and shorts. For the female characters, with the exception of Maggie, draw dresses for outfits. The last step in drawing the bodies is to add legs and shoes to all characters. Now you can erase the wireframe lines of the drawing.
Step 6
The most enjoyable and final step is painting the picture and working out the background. Put the Simpsons on their favorite couch. The drawing is ready. Who would have thought that drawing The Simpsons was so easy!
