Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your workplace and decide on an option. To work, the brush should be simple, with a wooden handle. To avoid smudging, cover the tip of the brush and the metal base with paper tape, and leave the wooden surface to paint.
Step 2
Start with a simple coloring. Paint the brush with a light yellow paint, for example. To do this, squeeze a little yellow paint and a little white paint into a palette from a tube, mix well. Paint over the wooden handle with two coats of paint. Drying time 45 minutes. Remove the tape before applying the varnish.
Step 3
If you want to add a drawing to a finished brush background, you need a sketch. On paper, depict, for example, an ornament, or a pattern or flowers. Now transfer the sketch with a pencil along the entire length of the pen. Take a thin brush and some black paint, carefully trace the lines of the drawing. Let dry and apply varnish.
Step 4
You can paint the brush using a stencil. To do this, cut two strips of paper tape. Glue one, in a spiral around the brush, leaving a wooden surface in places. Paint the open areas with the desired color, let dry. Remove the tape from the brush. With the second strip, glue the colored lines with them, and paint the wooden surface left in a different color. When the paint is dry, remove the tape, cover with varnish.
