The big advantage of this model is that there is no need to separately knit the sleeves, and then sew them to the main product. It is a sweater or jacket with a batwing sleeve. Clothes with such a sleeve go well with trousers and a skirt. Therefore, every fashionista has at least one sweater of this type in her wardrobe. At first glance, it seems that it is very difficult and time-consuming to knit such a sleeve, but this is not the case.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the style of your future sweater. It can be narrowed at the waist or straight, as well as with a wrap. Make a pattern for your style. For a bat sleeve sweater, the pattern consists of only two parts - the back and the front.
Step 2
Buy the required amount of yarn. The sweater itself can consist of several colors, so also decide on the color of your model.
Step 3
Start knitting from the left sleeve. To do this, tie an elastic band, about ten to fifteen centimeters. Then tie the required number of rows of the sleeve with a satin stitch or other pattern, gradually adding several loops on each side.
Step 4
Then, after a certain number of rows, close the middle loop to cut the neckline and begin to knit separately in front and back of the product.
Step 5
Walk to the middle of the sweater and finish knitting symmetrically, with decrements becoming additions and vice versa. Work the remaining rows. After that, you need to reduce the required number of loops, and on the remaining loops, tie ten or fifteen centimeters of elastic, then close all the loops.
Step 6
Type on the lower edge of the front and back the required number of loops and knit with an elastic band about sixteen centimeters. Then close all the loops.
Step 7
Connect the parts of the product, while doing the side seams and the seams of the sleeves. Work the neckline by knitting one row of purl loops, and close all loops. It's easy to knit a bat sleeve sweater. Lay out your product and iron it gently through a damp cloth. Now you can knit yourself a lot of different shapes and colors of clothes with an original and unusual sleeve.
