Sewing a sleeve into the armhole is not as easy as it seems at first glance. This operation requires knowledge, attention and accuracy, because an incorrectly cut or inaccurately attached sleeve can spoil the appearance of the product as a whole. In addition, if something is wrong with the sleeve, the product is simply uncomfortable to wear. Therefore, the sooner you work on the bugs, the better.

Instructions

Step 1

If oblique creases are formed along the line of the front roll of the sleeve, the sleeve is turned towards the front. To fix a sleeve with such a defect, you need to turn it towards the back. And vice versa: if such creases are observed along the line of the elbow roll, then the sleeve is turned towards the front.

Step 2

An overlap in the form of transverse creases along the upper ridge of the sleeve means that the ridge is high relative to the depth of the armhole and must be reduced by the required amount.

Step 3

If the sleeve pulls from the top of the ridge, then creases are formed in the front and back of the sleeve. The reason for this defect is that the height of the dowel is less than necessary and does not correspond to the armhole. You can fix the sleeve if you reshape it by increasing the height of the ridge by the required amount.

Step 4

Small creases along the ridge of the sleeve in the upper part indicate that the upper part of the ridge of the sleeve is wider than necessary. In this case, the defect can be removed by narrowing the upper part of the round. At the same time, its height remains the same.

Step 5

If, when trying on, the front seam of the sleeve turns forward towards the upper part, then the apex of the elbow cut of the lower part of the sleeve is below the apex of the elbow cut of the upper part of the sleeve. Here you need to move the lower part up the elbow cut. If the front seam is twisted towards the lower part, then this is due to the fact that the top of the elbow cut of the lower part is higher than the apex of the elbow cut of the upper part of the sleeve. The defect can be corrected by moving down the elbow section of the lower part of the sleeve.

Step 6

It is necessary to identify and correct errors in a timely manner and then the product will be executed quickly and accurately.
