Biography

Vladimir Elizarov began his life in the fall of 1955 in the city of Sverdlovsk. He was born into a family of simple Soviet hard workers, where no one studied music, although his father loved to play the button accordion on holidays. Peter Elizarov did not know the notes, was an amateur, but he was able to convey to his son his love for music and songs.

Vladimir realized his vocation during his school years, around 1966, when he first got acquainted with the work of the Beatles. He covered all the songs of the great "Liverpool Four", along with Loretti and other Western performers, whom he learned and heard about in those years.

At the age of 13, Vladimir first got acquainted with the guitar. It happened in an absolutely classic way - teenagers in the alley played simple songs, but the ability to extract a melody seemed then to young Volodya real magic. His first guitar died in a street fight, but it has already played its role in the fate of the future famous musician.

At the age of 15, Vladimir went to work part-time in the Sverdlovsk cafe "Druzhba", where several young musicians have already performed. The team was good, and the guys played jazz, foxtrot in front of the audience, sang "The Beatles".

Having received a school education, Elizarov, at the insistence of his parents, submitted documents to the Ural Polytechnic Institute, but soon left there, settling in the UFAN club, a small local ensemble. And then, on the recommendations of the musicians, in 1972 he officially got a job in the first musical group of Sverdlovsk - EVIA-66.

In 1973, Vladimir joined the army, and for two years he served in the missile forces in the swamps near Pinsk. And then he returned to his native team and began the difficult life of a popular pop musician, filled with tours and work.

Career

In 1979, Vladimir was invited to work in the then popular group "Slides", working on the basis of the Tambov Philharmonic. Elizarov quickly became the leader of the group, wrote music for her. The group toured across the country and greatly influenced the formation of Russian rock and jazz traditions.

At the end of 1980, a new Culture Center was opened in the Urals, where Elizarov became the head of the recording studio. At the same time, Vladimir arranged his personal life. His wife Tatyana bore him two daughters, Ekaterina and Natalia. Since 1981, he began teaching at the Variety School. Tchaikovsky (one of Elizarov's students is the bass player of the ChayF group Dvinin).

In the eighties, Elizarov actively worked with popular musicians: Alla Pugacheva, Vladimir Presnyakov, Kristina Orbakaite, Yulia Nachalova. He recorded and engaged the albums of A. Novikov, the groups "Nautilus Pompilius", "ChayF" and others. By the nineties, Elizarov, together with Kaluzhsky, created an English-language project for Russian musicians "East of Eden", for which they received an award to them. John Lennon.

Present time

Elizarov is a producer of the School of Extracurricular Singing, produces master classes on a variety of music-related topics, participates in many vocal competitions, works as a sound engineer with famous performers, is actively involved in teaching and helps young rock bands.

Vladimir Elizarov is the owner of the well-known SVE-records studio, where in the 21st century more than a hundred musical projects have been created and implemented, including albums by the groups Semantic Hallucinations, Sansara, Thomas and many others.
