The future opera singer was born in the capital of our Motherland on July 30, 1974 in a family far from the world of culture and art. Despite the extraordinary natural gift associated with vocals, the young man from school was firmly convinced that he was orienting his professional activity towards the technical direction. However, nature prevailed, which led Vladimir to the pinnacle of creative fame later. That is why the milestones of his biography are so unusual.

In this regard, the following periods in the life of Vladimir Baykov should be noted:

- 1991-1997 - studies at the Russian Chemical-Technological University named after V. I. DI. Mendeleev ;

- 1992-1996 - studying at the Music School named after V. I. S. S. Prokofiev (vocal department on the course with E. S. Novikova);

- 1996-2001 - studies at the Moscow State Conservatory named after PI Tchaikovsky ;

- 1998-2001 - performances as a soloist on the stage of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theater;

According to Vladimir Baikov himself, it was the last hobby that won the battle between scientific activity and music. The opera singer believes that in his case the example of Alexander Borodin is very indicative, who all his life tried to combine a scientist and a composer in his person. And as a result of this kind of symbiosis, the world saw the polymerization of aldehydes, which other representatives of the academic community would have soon invented, but never got to know his Third Symphony in its finished form.

Baikov's musical career began to be realized in 1993, when he made his debut on the stage of the S. S. Prokofiev. And the country really recognized him in 1998. After all, the artist began to perform on the famous stage of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theater.
