Instructions
Step 1
Assess your fingerboard skill before doing the fingerboard. How difficult and risky are you already able to perform? What are you planning to master? Depending on this, estimate the height of the future springboard, its width and other parameters.
Step 2
Try making the simplest kind of springboard - just string a few planks together. But pay attention to the quality of the material: it should provide optimal grip on the wheels of the finger. If possible, work with a jigsaw to get an even shape.
Step 3
Get creative if you are not a carpentry lover. Look around your room and designate a workout area. There are many different items in the room that will allow you to make a springboard. Things that initially have a slope are best suited - some boxes, interior details (after all, even the surface of the cabinet can serve as a springboard).
Step 4
Build a springboard of a finger from several objects, if you did not find one. Take a book and place a stable object under one end of the book just as high as is required for your springboard. The stability can be changed using the width of the selected base. This version of the springboard will allow you to arbitrarily and at any time change the difficulty of the obstacle. In this case, you do not have to make a new springboard every time you climb another step in your skill.
Step 5
Take a store springboard as a sample and make your own from scrap materials if you fundamentally do not accept the use of purchased obstacles. You will have enough thick paper (preferably cardboard) and glue to make a layout of the springboard. It will not differ in durability, but this will allow you to return more often to the manufacturing process itself, which also brings considerable pleasure.
