Every fingerboard owner dreams of performing a variety of tricks with his new toy, but most of the tricks will not be available to him without additional devices - elements of the finger park. In this article, you will learn how to make one of the most popular fingerboard projectiles - a ramp that no finger park can do without. There are several different ways to make a ramp, and here we will describe two of the most simple ones.
Instructions
Step 1
In the first method, you will need chipboard and thin hardboard, as well as tools and screws. Cut out the frame details from the chipboard sheet - a rectangular base, side walls, triangular transverse partitions and rectangular narrow entry areas, which are located on the left and right of any ramp.
Step 2
Assemble the finished frame with glue, bolts or screws. Then take a rectangular sheet of thin hardboard of the required size and, bending it, screw it with screws to the side partitions of the frame. Thus, the hardboard sheet is bent into the correct shape required for the ramp.
Step 3
Cut off the excess edges with a hacksaw, and then modify the ramp - cut two long side panels out of hardboard to cover the free spaces in the ramp. Sand the ramp with fine sandpaper and cover it with varnish.
Step 4
You can also upgrade your ramp by coping. To do this, take a metal rod of a small diameter, cut a narrow strip of hardboard from both edges of the ramp canvas, and glue small pieces of a metal rod in its place.
Step 5
Also, a mini-ramp for a fingerboard can be made from a simple cardboard box and a drawing paper. Find a cardboard box large enough - shoe boxes work best; remove the lid from the box and cut half a circle in the long side walls of the box.
Step 6
Their angle should not be more or less than 90 degrees. After that, cut out a rectangular sheet from a dense Whatman paper, slightly exceeding the size of the box.
Step 7
Measure the length and width of the box with a ruler, transfer them to whatman paper and draw the outlines of the ramp canvas. Cut the Whatman paper and glue the side edges to the box.
