Products made from natural yarns have been in fashion at all times. And although today you can buy whatever your soul desires for clothes of absolutely any color and made from a wide variety of raw materials, connoisseurs of natural things do not stop talking about the advantages of natural materials. That is why the production of linen and other natural products is developed today. But before they sew clothes from flax, they spin it, and from the yarn of the yarn obtained, they make a cloth.

Instructions
Step 1
Sort long flax fibers from short and brushed. This must be done for the reason that for each of these fibers the winding process is represented by different operations.
Step 2
Form ribbons from the short flax fibers and tows on the mixing equipment: the flax is placed in a machine that is programmed for this operation, and then, using cards, card. After that, on a special device from the previously formed tape, make rovings, that is, thin, slightly twisted ribbons.
Step 3
Place the long flax fibers into the flax combing equipment, where the flax will be combed. Then, with the help of laying machines from the carded fibers, form ribbons, from which then make rovings on special equipment.
Step 4
Boil the resulting roving, bleach it and dye it if necessary. After all the above operations, send the linen yarn to the spinning machine.
Step 5
If the winding of flax is carried out with the wet method, then place the roving in the spinning trough, into which pour hot (if the roving is harsh) or warm (provided that the roving is "boiled") water. This procedure is called maceration. After that, attach the roving to the drafting device and wind the resulting yarn on the cob. Then dry the yarn.
Step 6
Provided that the winding of flax occurs dry, use ribbons as a raw material. Place the linen ribbons on the spinning machine and wind the yarn onto special cobs.
Step 7
If there is no special equipment for spinning flax, wooden combs with a spindle can be used. Flax is prepared for winding: it is soaked, dried, then thoroughly washed, and then it is scuttled. After beating, sort the flax according to quality and comb through. And after all these procedures, place the prepared flax on the comb and, twisting the flax fibers into yarn by hand, wind the resulting thread on a spindle.
